TEKROLAB Pharmacovigilance team is preparing a professional webinar focused on SIGNAL MANAGEMENT in veterinary pharmacovigilance.

The webinar will take place on September 16, 2026, and will address practical approaches to signal detection, evaluation, and regulatory expectations.

The session is intended for professionals involved in drug safety and regulatory compliance and will provide insights based on real-world pharmacovigilance practice.

From June 3–5, Tekrolab had the pleasure of attending the CELASC Conference in Budapest, held at the beautiful Aquaworld Resort Budapest.

Together with our Study Director, Zuzana Mikulková, we were invited by the Czech Chamber of Laboratory Animal Breeders (SVLZ) to join experts and professionals from across Europe who share a common commitment to animal welfare in both laboratory and farm animal studies. The conference featured inspiring presentations and discussions on animal welfare, the 3Rs principles (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement), and practical examples from a wide range of preclinical and research studies.

We look forward to meeting many of you again at future events that support responsible research and a healthy environment for necessary animal studies.

Tekrolab attended the DIAH 2026 conference in Bruges, bringing together professionals from across the animal health industry. The event provided an excellent opportunity to participate in one-to-one meetings with representatives of CROs, CDMOs, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders active in animal health.

The conference programme included keynote presentations, workshops, and masterclasses covering topics ranging from product development to successful market launch. Participants openly shared their experiences, challenges, and practical insights, creating valuable opportunities for learning and discussion.

In addition to the scientific programme, the event enabled us to strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections with industry professionals from across Europe.

We would like to thank the organizers for a well-prepared and welcoming event. DIAH 2026 was a valuable experience, and we look forward to future editions of the conference.

TEKROLAB successfully completed a GMP inspection conducted by the national regulatory authority for veterinary medicines on April 28–29, 2026.

The inspection confirmed the company’s compliance with applicable GMP requirements and validated the robustness of its quality systems and processes.

This achievement reflects the continuous commitment of TEKROLAB to maintaining high standards in quality assurance, operational control, and regulatory compliance across all activities.

We are proud to share that our GLP Study Director, Zuzana Mikulková, recently attended the 23rd Workshop on VICH GCP & Efficacy Studies in Animals, organized by Argenta in sunny Munich 23-24 April 2026.

The workshop offered a valuable platform to dive into current expectations around VICH GCP, exchange experiences in study conduct, and discuss evolving regulatory requirements across animal health. Bringing together experts from CROs, industry, and regulatory bodies, it once again proved to be a highly relevant and practical event.

At Tekrolab staying closely connected to industry developments is essential. The experience gained from events of this kind directly contributes to the quality, regulatory compliance, and reliability of the studies we provide to our partners.

On 28 January, Tekrolab hosted an online webinar “Basics of Veterinary Pharmacovigilance”, bringing together professionals from across the European Union working in veterinary pharmaceuticals, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance.

The webinar focused on the core principles of veterinary pharmacovigilance under Regulation (EU) 2019/6, including system setup, legislation and documentation, adverse event reporting, databases, benefit–risk evaluation, and basic signal management.
The goal was to provide a clear and practical introduction to pharmacovigilance obligations and to support companies in maintaining compliance while ensuring animal safety.

We highly value the active participation, thoughtful questions, and practical discussions during the session, which confirmed the growing need for clear guidance in this complex regulatory area.
